　　據(jù)說，在英語流行開來的時候，許多歐洲人紛紛開始學習。目的很明確：讀英語小說原文。一方面，這是一種審美的需求，另一方面，這也是社會階層的劃分依據(jù)：從此，身邊的人分為兩種，即能讀英語小說原著的，和不能用英語閱讀小說的人。在這樣的目的驅(qū)使下，可想而知學習效率會如何之高。

　　最近在學習英國文學史，下載了海量的英美小說和詩歌�？梢赃@么說，不讀小說，不知英文的精妙，不讀詩歌，不知英文的優(yōu)雅與靚麗。

　　當下國人學習英語的目標，個人認為，不是純粹的審美層面的�；蚴菫榱烁呖�、大學英語四六級之類的等級考試，或是為了留學考試。真正靜下心來，讀一首英文詩歌，或許你會愛上英文的。

　　可以說，我的.英語學習是為“雪恥”，小學的時候英語考試睜眼瞎，題都讀不懂。到了初中，憑借優(yōu)秀的語文和數(shù)學成績，進入了英語實驗班——是的，有一些滑稽。于是，在老師的悉心、嚴格的教學下，在我的努力下，英語終于按部就班地提高起來。中考英語以146分位居年級第一，進入了理想的直升班。

　　現(xiàn)在回想起來，簡單的動機，為我打下了堅實的英語基礎(chǔ)。當時，最開心的事情，就是每周的英語考試，可以讀到新鮮熱辣的時文。

　　不過，與那些英語原版世界名著相比，英語說明文就顯得黯然失色了。當然，那些來自于《時代》周刊的英文消息，是很值得玩味的。至今記得那篇略顯晦澀的對喬伊斯《尤利西斯》的報道。

　　今天，又窩在家里聽英國文學史，打開一本詩集，頓時沉醉其中。

　　如果，能夠以審美的維度，重新審視英語學習，我想，大家對英語學習的興致，大概會濃厚很多了。

　　Gao Kao is a Chinese version of college entrance examination. Once it was probably the most important event in Chinese students' life, and it is still to some students. It is optional whether to attend this exams or not, so the choice lies in each student. Now more and more students start to take this choice seriously, and disreputes arose. As for me, attending Gao Kao is a better choice.

　　Firstly, college education is a necessity for each student, and one can only get enrolled in a college in China with a score of Gao Kao. Secondly, preparing Gao Kao is a very valuable experience to help us grow, exactly for the reason that it is not a little trying and harsh. Lastly, unless better opportunity arise, applying for native colleges is the best choice for us to embrace a propectful future, which makes attending Gao Kao a necessity for each of us who choose to receive education home in China.

　　All in all, it depends whether attending Gao Kao is the best choice, but for me and other who haven't plan to receive overseas education, there is no doubt that it is a necessity and an opportunity to make our way in the society.

　　On Christmas Eve, my parents took me and my sister to the supermarket. Because tomorrow is Christmas, we want to dress up in the home, also prepared some sugar, because the teacher said that in western countries, on the eve, Santa Claus to children's house to send sugar, put the sugar in the children on the head of a bed socks. So I want my father to be Santa Claus and give us candy at night.

　　When I arrived at the supermarket, the first thing I saw was the stars dressed up for Christmas. I chose two of the most beautiful stars in the basket and put them in the car.
